The NP241 transfer case was originally designed in 1988 by New Process Gear. It features 27 and 32 input splines depending on the year and application. This transfer case was used in GMC and Chevy applications such as K1500, K2500, K3500, Suburban, Tahoe, Blazer, Jimmy, and Yukon trucks and SUVs. The NP241C is compatible with vehicles manufactured in the following years 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000. Throughout its production the NV241 was known to have a few inherent flaws that would cause the transfer case to fail during normal operation. Through many years of research and testing we have implemented upgrades that not only help rectify these flies but also aid in the transfer cases longevity and performance.
